ENS Travel Grant
- Overview
The ENS mission is
to promote clinical
excellence through
advancement of the
science and art of endocrine nursing. Our most important
event is the annual Endocrine Nurses Symposium held in conjunction
with the Endocrine Society meeting. The purpose of the grant
is to enable an eligible member to attend the annual meeting
who otherwise would be unable to attend.
The Travel Grant
will provide $500
toward expenses related
to attending the
June 2008 ENS Symposium
in San Francisco. The recipient is expected to attend the
entire Symposium including the Business Luncheon where he/she
will be recognized and presented the Award.
Eligibility
ENS
members in good
standing for at
least one year are eligible to apply. Preference
will be given to
candidates not
previously ENS
funded. Candidates not eligible include board members of
the Endocrine Nurses Society, Past Presidents or those receiving
significant funding to attend the Endocrine Nurses Society
and/or Endocrine Society annual meeting.
Guidelines
The Awardee
will be expected
to submit a report suitable for publication in
the ENS Newsletter
after attending
the Seminar and
based on what is
learned. This report will be due no later than August 1,
2008. Please submit forms along with your current curriculum
vitae or resume to: Patricia.Via@va.gov. The subject line
should be “Travel Grant.”
